Be Happy – You Need to Justify Your Existence.

It may seem to be some strange question if you ask yourself why you took birth. Why are you existing? God has wished something for creating you. We should not remain ignorant as we all have within our soul a deep knowing about our unique purpose in life. We need to introspect to know what it is.

When we grow up to gain our maturity, conventional wisdom dictates us that we must set clear goals achieve great things. After all, how can we relax to know where we are going if we do not know where we want to go? Now ask, who is setting the goals and who is creating the vision? Naturally, we do it as it is known in common parlance.

Studies of Fortune 500 CEOs found that the top executives relied upon quiet time, moments of prolonged inner reflection, to help them make better decisions. The inner connection allowed them greater access to intuitive problem solving which resulted in clearer thinking and more effective decision making. This modern approach to business is founded upon ancient Eastern philosophy whereas the western culture may not attach any importance to such factor.

Without going outside, how would you know the whole world? Without looking through the window, you may not be able to see the ways of heaven! The farther you go from your target, the less you know the progress you are going to achieve. To “know without travelling”, “see without looking”, and “work without doing” is to be without effort. “The farther you go, the less you know,” speaks to the great mystery of life that is beyond our personal comprehension.

The deeper aspect of ourselves, call it the soul if you like, exists in harmony and unity with all creation. A subtle, yet tangible force of energy, weaves a web that interpenetrates all life. Our thought, our consciousness can access this subtle realm to receive ad to create, to learn and to impregnate. This subtle force is the terrain of the soul. You know you have found solid ground in this subtle realm when you feel peace, love, joy and bliss; not necessarily all at the same time.

To set personal goals, you can use the old tried and proven method and use your mind to think about what you want and develop a plan to achieve those goals. Effective, but not necessarily the most enlightened approach.

This century calls for enlightened action. This approach requires a deeper knowing of the self. We all have within our soul a deep knowing about our unique purpose in this life. When we take the time to introspect and ask for clarity about this purpose, we can more consciously become aligned with the highest forces of creation.

The process of realizing our soul purpose also reveals the mystery of “being without doing”. The soul functions at level that is beyond and transcendent of our personal ego. The will and intention, tools of the soul, are actually powerful forces that can be used for manifestation. Our own material efforts and unfocused actions recede in the face of the soul’s ability to intuitively personal story will provide some clarity.

Years ago, I was very troubled about the nature of the world. The Cold War was raging and the possibility of a nuclear holocaust seemed all too possible. I was meditating and had vision of a nuclear bombing exploding a few miles from my home and considered that reality in which I had a few seconds before I would be vaporised. I asked myself, “Have I done everything in my power to prevent this?’ The answer was “No”.

From a very deep and sacred place within me, I spoke to the Great Voice that often guides me and offered myself in any way that might be found useful. It said: “If you try and help keep the world from being blown up”.

Of course, one cannot just sit around waiting for results to happen. Once the goal is clear, we must do all we can do to fulfill our mission? My point is that working from the inside out and consciously aligning ourselves with our deepest values allows for more enlightened action and ultimately greater success.

How is it possible? Efforts from me alone may not be sufficient. We may have to gather momentum within our associates and others to join hands, to gather sufficient energy and resources to move out for common betterment, beyond our self interest. Here it is worth of mention that once you think welfare of the others, you can also be cared for one day, perhaps not immediately. If you continue your mission of serving others, you can be treated with equally as and when there is an opportunity.

For betterment of others, we can identify their needs and sort out how and when we can help them appropriately without hurting them emotionally. Instead of donating to them, we may create such infrastructure which may help them to become independent soon and better, if they become so competent that they are able to pay back your contribution soon thereafter. They will soon recognize your existence and their recognition will justify your existence. Yes, you are there to be mentioned about.

Be Happy – Make Your Life Easier

Millions of people around the world are feeling overwhelmed and drained by the pressures and the endless demands of work, family and life. They are stressed and lack the energy to fully enjoy their lives. Everything happens quickly in our modern world and the busyness fuelled by advancements in technology and mechanization means we are always on the move and under pressure.
Like many people you might begin your day with good intentions to eat right and get to the gym for some exercise. But then minutes later you are rushing out the door on coffee alone, having decided you don't have time for a decent breakfast. You instead tell yourself you will make up for it later.

When lunch time arrives your hunger has become urgent. Faced with a giant menu of nutritional time bombs there is no holding you back. You promptly slam down 1200 calories of something that resembles food but has little to no nutritional value in an effort to appease your body's hunger demand and your dwindling energy.

Back at the office and work piled high, and stress higher, you begin the after lunch battle to stay awake and alert, focused and productive. You fight to keep your head up and your eyes open as your body diverts every ounce of energy to the task of converting your lunch for three into enough body fat to keep you alive in the wilderness for a week.

You arrive home exhausted, grab something to eat and promptly crash and spend the next few hours practically comatose in front of the television. This scenario is repeated day after day after day. Living like this is a slippery slope, a fast track that will spiral your health downward setting you up for premature aging and at risk of disease, maybe even one of the 'big three' villians heart disease, cancer or diabetes.

Look 20 or more years ahead in your life, and take a moment to think about what you are doing right today that is more important than your health, your future, your life. What could be more important than you? If you are chasing success how can you enjoy that success without your health? You don't want to win the race only to die on the finish line do you? That is not a definition of success; that is sacrifice.

How do you reverse this trend and get back on a better path so you can look after your health? Well, first you need a change of attitude. Taking some time out each day to strengthen your body with strength training exercise is an investment in your most precious resource: you. When you are strong, healthy and alive with energy and vitality, you are more effective, more confident and more successful in all areas of your life.

You need to make some changes - it is time for you to change. The idea that you can swap your health and energy for success and achievement is a mistaken belief. Health and fitness success and career success are not competing goals. They are not two goals they are one. Do not even think you can sacrifice your health and fitness for your success, as without your health what do you have?

Resolve to take some time each week just two to three hours to get a proper exercise program established in your life. Seek the help of a fitness professional to help you do this and to get it right. Do not waste time on activities that are not going to get you results such as long, slow, steady state activities like walking, jogging or cycling. Your program need to be mainly strength training exercise and one or two interval training sessions for effective and fast results.

You will benefit from this immediately with a reduction in stress levels and a new calm focus will take its place. Physical work will rejuvenate and empower you and your business will benefit as you develop a stronger more energized body and mind. When your monetary, business and life goals are more in sync with your physical strength you may find you will be even more successful.

Whenever you attempt to trade your health and energy for success, you are really only sacrificing yourself in the long term. This has a cost on everyone, especially you and your family. You don't really want that do you? Make the decision to change today. You must make your life easier by getting your priorities fixed for your timely meals and timely exercises.

Be Happy – Be Rich (Part 7)

In my early posts on the same subject, the last one on 21st June 2010, I had stressed on the requirement of being rich and how to be rich. Since our basic needs are more important than any thing and for meeting them, we need money all the time, we are required to make efforts. Once our basic needs are satisfied, we look on our social needs and then our comforts. But money has important role to play for all kinds of our needs. Once again, I bring forth this topic.

When I go through the different methods of our education, I find that most of the prevailing systems of education teach us how to live but how to be rich is not their explicit subject. There is a very real possibility that everything we have been taught about how to earn money is so far from the truth that it’s almost comical.

Our school system has been designed as an environment to enlighten young minds, to replace ignorance with understanding and ultimately improve the quality of life. And though our educational system has obviously been successful in many areas, it has woefully neglected one important subject, ''How to be rich.'' Being rich has nothing to do with age, formal education, gender or geography. It has nothing to do with past experience or your formal years of education or your level of intellect.

There are individuals who are functionally illiterate who have become multimillionaires, while there are others who are absolutely brilliant and they are broke. Virtually anyone can be taught how to earn millions of dollars and yet the sad truth is that 97 out of every 100 people are born, live their entire lives, and die without ever learning how to earn money. To perpetuate this ridiculous problem, their ignorance is passed along from one generation to the next.

Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment. Since money is the medium of exchange that is used worldwide for other people’s products and services, a lack of understanding in this area is the cause of numerous unwanted and unnecessary problems.

Money is a reward you receive for the service you render. The more valuable the service, the greater the reward. Thinking of ways we can be of greater service will not only help us earn more money, it will also enable us to grow intellectually and spiritually.

The paper you fold and place in your purse or pocket is not money. It is paper with ink on it. It represents money, but it is not money. Money is an idea. The earning of money has nothing to do with the paper stuff, it has to do with consciousness.

The late Mike Todd said, ''Being broke is a temporary situation. Being poor is a mental state.'' He was correct. There are wealthy people who lose every cent they have through a series of mistakes in judgment, but that does not make them poor. They will have it all back in a short time because of their prosperity consciousness.

Many years ago, George Bernard Shaw expressed his thoughts on money. People have such strong views on both of these statements, we must purposely use them in our lives to cause other people to think.

1. It is the duty of every person to be rich.
2. It is a sin to be poor.

Before you reject these as being ridiculous, let’s analyze them. To fully understand what Shaw was saying, you must have an open mind. There is a law that states everything is moving, absolutely nothing rests. You are either moving ahead in life or going in reverse ... growing or dying ... creating or disintegrating, becoming richer or poorer.

The thoughts, feelings, and actions that you express in life are seeds that you sow. The conditions, circumstances and things that come into your life are the harvest you reap as a RESULT of the seeds that you sow. For a moment, store this information in the back of your mind while we investigate the deeper understanding of the words SIN and MONEY.

Sin is ... transgression of the law. Violating the law is a sin and, in truth, the price of sin is death. That does not mean your heart will stop beating, but it does mean you will regress. I previously mentioned there is a law that states you will either create or disintegrate, you will grow or die. When you attempt to ''get'' without giving, you are trying to reap the harvest without sowing the seeds, and it will not work.

Now let’s look at ''money.'' What is it? Money is a reward you receive for the service you render; the more valuable the service, the greater the reward. Attempting to ''get'' money without providing service is also a violation of the law.

We Are Here to Serve Each Other.

Shaw believed you and I are here to serve one another, whether we are businessman, an employee, an investor or a self employed professional. Thinking of ways we can be of greater service will enable us to grow intellectually and spiritually. It is our duty to serve and money is a reward we receive for that service. If a person has received their money in an unlawful manner - by law, they must pay the price; you reap what you sow.
In light of the laws that govern our universe, what Shaw said is correct. However, if a person is not consciously thinking, Shaw’s statements would appear very callous, even ridiculous. Personally, I believe Shaw made those statements the way he did, to provoke people to think.

Quite simply, what Shaw was emphasizing was the importance of our own responsibility in the quest for abundance. Abundance is something we magnetize ourselves to ... we draw it into our lives ... in every aspect our lives. Business associates, friends, everything we want will come into our life by law, not luck. You are either attracting or repelling good. It is your own consciousness that ultimately determines your results.

''Money is in consciousness and it must be earned.'' If you want to improve your financial position in life, focus your attention on creating a higher level of prosperity consciousness. Begin by preparing a powerful, positive affirmation and fuel it with emotion. When you do this, you are depositing this creative energy in the treasury of your subconscious mind. And, by repeating this process over and over and over again every day, it will begin to alter your conditioning and mentally move you in the direction you want to go. Write it out, read it, feel it, and let it take hold of your mind.
How much money do you want? Saying you want more is not good enough. Five dollars is more. How much more? Decide on a figure. Be specific. You will not seriously want more money than you are capable of earning ... however, you would be wise to remember, you must earn it.

There are Three Income Earning Strategies:

Trading time for money – By far the worst of the three income earning strategies, it is employed by approximately 96% of our population – doctors, lawyers, accountants, laborers, etc. There is an inherent problem with this strategy – saturation. You run out of time. If a person accumulates any degree of wealth employing this strategy, it will be at the expense of a life. They compromise on the car they drive, the house they live in, the clothes they choose and the vacations they take. They rarely, if ever, get what they want.

Investing money to earn money – This strategy is used by approximately 3% of the population. The number is small for the obvious reason – very few people have any money to invest. Many people who effectively employ this strategy follow the advice of a trusted, knowledgeable advisor.

• Leveraging yourself to earn money – This is where you multiply your time through the efforts of others by setting up Multiple Sources of Income (MSIs). This is, without question, the very best way to increase your income. Make a decision to have many sources of income; it’s the strategy that wealthy people have used dating clear back to the ancient Babylonians. Unfortunately, this strategy is only used by approximately 1% of our population, yet that 1% earns approximately 96% of all the money that is earned! You are only a decision away from membership.

Once you determine how much money you want to earn, write it down on a sheet of paper in large figures. Look at the number with the dollar sign beside it and tell yourself over and over again:

That amount of money is an effect. It represents a reward that I want to receive. What service can I render that would be deserving of that reward?

Take the total figure and divide it into multiple parts. Let each part represent a source of income. Each source of income represents a separate reward that you would receive for a service you would render. Work on one source of income at a time; each one can become an exciting part of your life.

• Think of how you can do whatever you do – more effectively.
• Think of how you can improve the quality and quantity of service you render.
• Think of how you can help people in a greater way.

Money is a servant; the more you earn, the more you can help others.

Be Happy – Give Up Your Sorrows (Part Two)

Our needs in excess of our capacity create sorrows when they are not accomplished due to any reason and such a non-accomplishment continues to hunt us unless we accept the reasons of our failures honestly. To give up our sorrows, we need to sort out our needs according to their nature. This issue I had mentioned in my last post. Now I may proceed on further….

Next step to remove our sorrows is to reduce our needs. You might have seen that a mother can willingly sacrifice her desire for the chocolate when her child expresses the wish to have. She will immediately hand over the chocolate without caring for the fact that she is very much fond of the same. Similarly, a good student keen on a PhD gives up pleasures as well as the safe haven of the home life to venture into the difficult terrains. When you are inspired towards spiritual gains, you may give up your materialistic possessions to some extent. Once this is done, your sorrows may reduce. In other words, if someone has determined over some target, he/she does not care for other possession except achieving the targets fixed. If you do not focus, you may remain in the grip of your sorrows.

At times, you may be happy but that happiness very much depends upon your surroundings, your mentality and your intentions. The world is unpredictable. Here, changes take place very frequently and sometime, they are a mix of pairs of opposites. Your inner enrichment can reduce your dependence over the materialism. You may not care for your personal comforts as much you may care for others. If you continue to do so, one day the people may take care of your comforts, naturally. A spiritually evolved person needs little from the world to be happy but has the capacity to give more. When you sow a sapling of a tree, do you know if you will get the fruits in your life time? No, you can not ascertain it. It may or may not reap in your life time. But you do. Similarly, you may continue to take action sincerely, without much thinking of the results and if you do, your sorrows will come down drastically.

If you use one bedroom house in spite of having a palatial house at your disposal, if you pool in a car in spite of having a luxury car standing in the portico of you residence, this way non-enjoyment of the surplus comforts would put you above those who long for such comforts in spite of being not capable to afford. A less evolved person needs much more from the world. Ironically, he lacks the capacity to gain them. There is a huge gap between his resources and his expectations. It creates sorrows for him. If he wishes to reduce the sorrows, he must reduce the gap between his resources and expectations. Either he must enhance his resources or he should reduce his expectations up to ground realities before him.

You can reduce your sorrows by sharing them with others. For this, firstly you must share their sorrows at the time they are affected with. It is deeply reciprocal and you must consider that if you helped someone, you can deserve to be helped at the time of your emergency. If you have not done so, you should not seek any help. Try to sail out of your grief sea and if not possible, you may borrow the help to repay immediately as soon as you get able to do so. This you will have to remember. A person makes big promises to repay the loan when he requests for granting. But at the time of repayment, he does not have same sentiments. Though it is human psychology, you must keep your attitude grateful when you are going to repay the debts you took at the time of your need. This process will definitely reduce the impact of your sorrows.

Be Happy – Give Up Your Sorrows (Part One)

Once my Guru said to me, “If you are not happy as you are, where you are, you will never be happy.” The statement seemed to me something strange. If I were not happy as I am, where I am, why should I have been trying to labor hard so many years? Just for being happier! If I look upon my friends, my relatives, my neighbors and those whom I know a little bit, I feel they are happier than I am. I am lurking about the happiness, which seems to be just around the corner. Keep in mind always that there is still some hope to revive yourself. We need to locate out where is our happiness.

Many times, it happens that no sooner one target we achieve, we find that another problem or target is there requiring our immediate attention. We are again on our heels to attempt upon. We start to work again and feel that we are short of time – we are sorry on our state of affairs. What the hell is our life! We have no time for our children, our family and even for our own enjoyments! The list of our sorrows, or you say disappointments, gets lengthened.

How can I give up my sorrows? Truly, those sorrows which came into existence due to some death of a close relative, due to loss of some benefits or due to un-success in our efforts, can not be forgotten easily, can not be ignored. But we can try! How? Very easy – if someone dies, we may have to consider that the death occurred under system of the universal truth that who took life on this earth will have to go back, there is some expiry date for each one of us – some might have sooner or some may have later. If someone is ill, we can delay the expiry of that person by arranging good treatment but cannot make that person immortal. It is true that vacuum created by the death is not made up immediately, that takes time for healing up but the time teaches us to proceed on for next step in the life – we must re-adjust with the changed circumstances and care for what is still with us.

Similarly, if we suffer some loss, we can go through the circumstances why such loss happened. It is possible that we might have lagged behind somewhere or some issues might have not been attended to by us well in advance and that caused us the loss. In our next attempt, we can improve. What we can not do is gambling which we must not undertake if we have a weak heart. If we loose something in gambling or for which we have taken some risk, we should not mind as we were already determined by our psychology for face such loss.

In other words, you must choose to be happy in all the circumstances, in the worst of the circumstances. You must fill happiness in your mind – that will work as lubricant to your brain engine. When your mind is tranquil, you will be happy. When you are fighting with some trouble, you must not permit any unfamiliar thought to enter into your mind – such thoughts work as virus to derail your thinking process.

Unfortunately, most of us remain in the constant state of unrest which is in existence due to the feelings of inadequacy. Here, you need to have a look upon those things which are available with you sufficiently – you must care for your two hands when you can see that someone had lost one hand in some accident. You must care for your eyes when you see that someone has only one eye. God has given you shelter, good employment, good wife, good children – think about those who do not have such additions to their lives. If you are not satisfied with what you have, you cannot be satisfied with what you wish to achieve. Once you achieve something you wish, there would come up other things you may need further. It is endless list of your needs. You must keep some check over your needs. You may do efforts to get more and more but don’t take them to your heart.

When you signify your possessions, you will feel a little bit comfortable and that cool mind will energize you for further fighting. If you do not do it, your mind will get turbulent with the unfulfilled desires and your efforts for the further fighting may get tired. You may carelessly entertain the needs without realizing that the havoc they are playing with your peace of mind may destroy you physically too. Then, what is the use of fighting for all such things which you can not enjoy with your sound health.

Vedanta asks you to be careful about your needs. You must remain the master of your needs. Vedanta gives you a unique formula to be happy. Happiness is the number of the desires fulfilled divided by the desires harbored. If you keep the number of the needs harbored lesser, your happiness would always be closer to you. You should not be in the mindless pursuit of fulfilling desires focusing the numerator. As you fulfill one, the other will come up. The denominator increases to reduce your happiness. You may kindly keep care of denominator. Keep reviewing your needs as to how they can be reduced further.

Yes, to restore your happiness, your first step is to eradicate your needs – divide them into three classes:

1. Your Essential Needs which you can call your basic needs like your food, clothing and housing. Once you have your meals, appropriate clothes and proper housing, your next needs can be reviewed. The basic needs are those which are essential for your survival. These needs can not be ignored. If you satisfy them on priority, it would give you mental satisfaction and real happiness.

2. Your Social Needs which you can harbor to suit your status in the society. After gathering the essential food, clothes and house, a person thinks beyond. He may have better food full of nutrients, designer clothing and good bungalow. He must aspire for higher standards of life but for such things, he must care for the fact that he has already gathered the essentials for his life. If he tries after that, it is good otherwise he is definitely going to loose his life too in due course of time. In comparison to the essential needs, these needs can be overlooked for betterment of life. If you do, it may give you happiness.

3. Your luxurious Needs are always preferred when a person gets plenty of money and opportunities to display his possessions in great abundance, his rich profusion. It can be your personal choice or power-show to others. For social harmony, it should be avoided in larger interests as it creates divisions into the society. If you have plenty, you may enjoy but kindly don’t hurt those who can not afford the style you wish to display.

Meet your essential needs first, social needs at the second stage and try to avoid your luxurious needs to the maximum possible. For applying this method, you can ask yourself first: Is this need really justified? Is it going to help your goal of life? If it helps, fulfill otherwise press the ‘delete’ button.

The next step is to reduce your needs. How? I may discuss in my next post. Till then, we may try to reduce our sorrows. I would welcome if you apprise me of your thoughts on this topic.

Be Happy – Be Entrepreneur

In one of the articles I was going through yesterday, I found the following figures indicating the status of the economy in US, considered as the super power of the world:

• 83 percent of all U.S. stocks are in the hands of 1 percent of the people.
• 61 percent of Americans "always or usually" live paycheck to paycheck, which was up from 49 percent in 2008 and 43 percent in 2007. • 66 percent of the income growth between 2001 and 2007 went to the top 1% of all Americans.
• 36 percent of Americans say that they don't contribute anything to retirement savings.

• A staggering 43 percent of Americans have less than $10,000 saved up for retirement.
• 24 percent of American workers say that they have postponed their planned retirement age in the past year.
• Over 1.4 million Americans filed for personal bankruptcy in 2009, which represented a 32 percent increase over 2008.
• Only the top 5 percent of U.S. households have earned enough additional income to match the rise in housing costs since 1975.
• For the first time in U.S. history, banks own a greater share of residential housing net worth in the United States than all individual Americans put together.
• In 1950, the ratio of the average executive's paycheck to the average worker's paycheck was about 30 to 1. Since the year 2000, that ratio has exploded to between 300 to 500 to one.
• As of 2007, the bottom 80 percent of American households held about 7% of the liquid financial assets.
• The bottom 50 percent of income earners in the United States now collectively own less than 1 percent of the nation’s wealth.
• Average Wall Street bonuses for 2009 were up 17 percent when compared with 2008.
• In the United States, the average federal worker now earns 60% MORE than the average worker in the private sector.
• The top 1 percent of U.S. households own nearly twice as much of America's corporate wealth as they did just 15 years ago.
• In America today, the average time needed to find a job has risen to a record 35.2 weeks.
• More than 40 percent of Americans who actually are employed are now working in service jobs, which are often very low paying.
• The first time in U.S. history, more than 40 million Americans are on food stamps, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture projects that number will go up to 43 million Americans in 2011.
• This is what American workers now must compete against: in China a garment worker makes approximately 86 cents an hour and in Cambodia a garment worker makes approximately 22 cents an hour.
• Approximately 21 percent of all children in the United States are living below the poverty line in 2010 - the highest rate in 20 years.
• Despite the financial crisis, the number of millionaires in the United States rose a whopping 16 percent to 7.8 million in 2009.

• The top 10 percent of Americans now earn around 50 percent of the national income.

Why are so dismal figures there? It appears that US has forgotten to develop entrepreneurship in its next generations to handle the business and manufacturing sector and concentrated upon the consumption or enjoyment by importing the stuff and now, manpower to handle the jobs there due to lower payment of the labor costs comparatively. You can reverse the downfall and become of one of the saviors of progress for the whole world. You should become Entrepreneur, it will be in your own interest.

What do you understand about the word “Entrepreneur”? If we may make analysis of the word, we find that the word entrepreneur comes from Latin. Entre-enter; pre-before; neur-nerve center. Taking its derivation we could understand entrepreneur as someone who enters the nerve center of a business that no one entered before and then makes changes to it that results in a paradigm shift in the whole process. An entrepreneur is the one who is willing to take risk in any business endeavor and entrepreneurship is the art of finding an opportunity and then pursuing it to success.

When you wish to earn something for you, you have the following options, most widely accepted throughout the world:

-You may become an employee to some one.
-You may become self employed, as a professional.
-You may become a manufacturer, a businessman and/or an entrepreneur as defined above.
-You may become an investor.

All the above four capacities have their own merits and demerits.

As an employee, you would sell out your time or caliber for some consideration to be given to you partly as advance and the balance after the job or the specified time is over, or you may be kept on hourly, daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, or on the basis of the completion of the work. The payment terms can be defined by you and your employer as the circumstances prevail. Some time job opportunities are in plenty and some time manpower is available and for a single job, there we witness many applicants. However, whatever be there, you will be an employee to some one., it is immaterial whether your employer is an individual, firm, company, association, trust or the government authority. Mostly your employment can be at your employer’s pleasure keeping in view the rising unemployment world wide. Here, the employer will count on your performance as per the terms and conditions settled with you.

For becoming a self employed, professional, you need to make good achievements in your academic and vocational pursuits. Addition of some practical experience may make you sharp and you can render consultancy or work as an Engineer, Architect, Medical Practitioner, Lawyer, Artist, Accountant, Spiritual Guru, Teacher, Preacher, Craftsman, Master, Expert etc. Here too, your personal services are counted very much. If you are there, you would be paid for. Your client would like to listen to you only, if he engages you.

If you become a manufacturer, a businessman and/or an entrepreneur as defined above, you may take care of various elements required for becoming as such. You will have to gather your resources, your caliber, your contacts and your aptitude to work as a manufacturer, a businessman and/or an entrepreneur as defined above. You may develop some system, organize infrastructure, and recruit some staff even including some experts of the line, to support you. There can be some teething problems initially but once your system gets working to use your infrastructure and staff to achieve your aim, you need just some supervision to avoid any derailment or trouble in smooth running of the show.

If you choose to become an investor, you need to gather your capital to invest in other’s project and sit outside to watch the progress and count your income in shape of your interest, dividend or anything which the Project operator may pay as per the terms and conditions decided with you. Beyond that you can not go. If unluckily that project operator happens to be dishonest, value and recovery of your investment may not remain as much as when you had originally invested.

Here we see the third option seems to be best if you have courage to become an entrepreneur. How can you be an entrepreneur? And what should be done to be a successful entrepreneur? Why do you want to be an entrepreneur? Do you really want to be an entrepreneur? Ask these questions to yourself before thinking of starting any business venture?

As a saying goes “brilliant people also see the same things that others do but they observe things that others don’t.” It is the same with entrepreneurs also. They come out with ideas that others don’t think about and that is why they become successful.

Why entrepreneurship? Why are you thinking of being an entrepreneur? Do you really want to be an entrepreneur or is there some kind of compulsion to be an entrepreneur? Is it because you don’t have any job or you currently find yourself out of job? There are many who get into the field because that is what his father and forefathers have been doing. Well, after all, it is their family business. It is the one where people claim that they want to be entrepreneurs for the very simple reason that they want to be entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship is in their blood.

It is for you to ask yourself. Why do you want to be an entrepreneur? I would like to tell you one thing. Entrepreneurship can really prove very rewarding but and this is a very big but, it is very risky and not easy. Until and unless you are ready to slug it out till the end, the chances of success are very limited. If you are fed up with you daily office routine and want to try your hands in entrepreneurship, let me tell you that the time you would have to spend for your own company would be far more. The effort that you would have to make would be far greater than what you have been making. There has never been any short cut to success and there would never be any. But yes, when you really become successful, the rewards compensate for everything.

The avenues open are many but you would have to make appropriate choices. The present time offers you opportunities where you can earn money and make a mark for yourself without actually investing too much of capital. Yes, in the process of globalization there is no political barriers and anyone and everyone can start a business of their own.

Most of us find ourselves trapped in nine to five jobs and even though the desire to do something worthwhile exists but job security and several other such considerations stop us from taking the one step that could change our future forever.

If you find that you are not in a position to leave your job, you can start some work in your part time without actually quitting your job. And that would groom up you to become an entrepreneur to start with a small idea but with a vision that could take him to the highest platform of success.

In the beginning you should not exactly need to spend all your time at it. After all, you must have liabilities with you and you could not risk it all. So, the best course of action would be to initiate some business in your part time and continue with your job. And the moment you feel your part time business has grown enough to occupy you full time, you can quit your job and start concentrating fully on your business.

If you are thinking of starting a new business venture of your own, you should asses yourself very objectively if you are game for it. For example, if you are thinking to be a technopreneur, you need to have some personal traits that include being ambitious, independent thinking, passionate about your work, self confidence to take bold decisions, commitment to your job, and creativity in good doses, having risk taking abilities, and having a vision for future.

So, if you want to be a technopreneur, start with assessing yourself, if you are really for it. And be very honest about it. You can’t cheat yourself. What are your interests? Are you really interested in being a technopreneur or are you joining the bandwagon? Do you have the aptitude to be a technopreneur? What are the relative advantages and the disadvantages of being a technopreneur?

You must be very sure of what you want. Another option could be of being a miniprenuer. The best thing about it is that you can continue in your present job and pursue your business in part time. And when you think that you are ready to pursue it full time you should leave your job and do it full time. It all depends on your personal choice and personal willingness.

If you get sufficient resources, capital and infrastructure with experienced hands, you can go to undertake big business and big projects. You can render social service by creating employment for the thousands of the people, add up to national wealth and have social symbol. But keep in mind, being an entrepreneur is something the best option but it needs to be handled very carefully. If you become an entrepreneur, you will work hard to make yourself successful and once successful, you will not be horrified with the figures which indicate rising unemployment.

Be Happy – Keep Yourself Young.

Douglas MacArthur (American General who commanded the Southwest Pacific Theatre in World War II, 1880-1964) quotes “People grow old only by deserting their ideals, Macarthur had written. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up interest wrinkles the soul. You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope as old as your despair. In the central place of every heart there is a recording chamber. So long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer and courage, so long are you young. When your heart is covered with the snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism, then, and then only, are you grown old. And then, indeed as the ballad says, you just fade away.”

Generally, we say that youth is the time of life between childhood and adulthood (maturity). We can not stick to this definition for all purposes or to define the word Youth correctly. Definitions of the specific age range that constitutes youth vary. An individual's actual maturity may not correspond to their chronological age, as immature individuals exist at all ages. It does not really matter what the number of your years add up to. The big question is how you look, feel and perform. Most would agree that the quality of life is at least as important as the length of it and that we want our "health span" to equal our "life span."

Sophia Loren (Italian film Actress, b.1934) quotes “There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” The fountain of youth has always been a most sought-after yet illusive quest of man. Does it really exist? Yes, it does, but not in a tangible or touchable form. The fountain of youth is an attitude, a way of thinking, a mind set, and a way of life.

You could describe youth as a feeling of wonder, of vitality and freshness; the opposite of cynical and worn out. So in that case younger in age or older in age it really doesn't matter, we can be cynical and worn out at 30 years old and we can be full of wonder at 65 years old. Youth is a state of mind that can be found or lost at any age.

Each of us yearns to maintain our youthful appearance, energy and good health free from disease and sickness and now this is entirely possible. You can improve every aspect of your body inside and out - all over strength, bone mass, long and short-term memory, healing time, immune system and organ function and regain a youthful appearance.

All this can be achieved by changing your metabolism and your body chemistry through a proper program of strength training exercise.

If you want to stay young, you have to stay physically strong. A fundamental but highly changeable part of the aging process is a morphing of your body shape and body composition. After age 30 years lean muscle tissue is lost at the rate of around one half pound per year. Excess body fat accumulates and pads the areas of muscle loss changing the body composition (muscle/fat ratio) for the worst although body weight and shape may not change much.

This has a catastrophic effect on many aspects of the body's processes accelerating a downward spiral on everything from your metabolism (your body's engine) to a decline in the functioning of your immune system. It is only now becoming more widely known of the importance of realigning the metabolism for maximum longevity and youthfulness.

The only way to return the metabolism to its more youthful state is with strength training exercise. No other type of exercise will even come close to what this can achieve. Rejuvenation can be maximized by activating more adult stem cells to replace damaged ones, and changing the metabolism to restore, repair and rebuild tissues, organs, and systems at cellular level.

This is where the anti aging effect of proper exercise comes in to play along with an increase of high energy so you can perform your exercise program at a higher level of intensity to chase Father Time away even quicker.

It is better to deal with the underlying causes of aging such as muscle strength loss with exercise under yoga rather than trying to deal with each symptom by taking some type of pill or medicine. The financially driven medical establishment is organized for the purpose of treating symptoms with drugs and is does not educate people to correct their metabolic flaws to be healthier, stay young and live longer enjoyably.

It may be true that we cannot stop the aging process but we can most certainly delay, slow down or even reverse its effects. We can easily maintain a high quality of life and can increase our life expectancy by as much as 30 years.

The fountain of youth lies in the truth that nature has it all figured out and science does not yet fully understand. But the power is inside each of us to think young and therefore restore our youth all over again. You must change your attitude also to feel young. Once you go to think as you have become old, soon you may become so. You must give up your thinking that you are growing to be old. You will remain young till you think so and for materializing your such thinking, you may undertake some exercises under the supervision of some expert to remain young.

Be Happy – Be Careful About Your Energy.

What we understand generally, an aura is a field of subtle, luminous radiation supposedly surrounding a person or object. The depiction of such an aura often connotes a person of particular power or holiness. The most important property of the Aura seems to be the fact that it contains information about the object.

Aura around living and conscious people and objects like plants changes with time, sometimes very quickly. Aura around non-living object (stones, crystals, water) is essentially fixed, but can be changed by our conscious intent.

The Aura around humans is partly composed from EM (electromagnetic) radiation, spanning from microwave, infrared (IR) to UV light. The low frequency microwave and infrared part of the spectrum (body heat) seems to be related to the low levels of the functioning of our body (DNA structure, metabolism, circulation etc.) whereas high frequency (UV part) is more related to our conscious activity such as thinking, creativity, intentions, sense of humor and emotions. The high frequency UV part is very important and most interesting but largely unexplored. And this part can be seen with naked eyes.

Colours and intensity of the aura, especially around and above the head have very special meanings. Watching someone's aura you can actually see the other person's thoughts before you hear them expressed verbally. If they do not agree with what this person is saying, you effectively see a lie every time. No one can lie in front of you undetected. We cannot fake the Aura. It shows our true nature and intentions for everyone to see.

Also, aura is our spiritual signature. When you see a person with a bright, clean aura, you can be sure that such person is good and spiritually advanced, even if he/she is modest and not aware of it. When you see a person with a grey or dark aura, you may be almost sure, that such person has unclear intentions, regardless how impressive, eloquent, educated, "good looking" or "well dressed" he/she seems to appear.

It is especially important to check the aura of any religious leader, "spiritual teacher", "master" or a "guru". Such a person should have a clearly defined yellow-golden halo around the head. If he/she does not have it, you are much better on your own.

Joining a sect or a religion that is led by incompetent people without good Auras is very dangerous for your consciousness. Where is the danger? When the time comes to really use the information stored in your consciousness from this lifetime, there may be almost nothing useful there, if you focus your life on following rituals and the flock of other people. In such case it is necessary to re-learn everything from the beginning. Most sect, religion and political leaders have only two things in mind: money and power to control people. And you can see it in their Aura for yourself. Imagine changes on Earth if many people can see Auras of their leaders and start choosing them on the basis of their Auras.

By reading Aura it seems possible to diagnose malfunctions in the body (diseases) long before physical symptoms become evident. By consciously controlling your Aura you can actually heal yourself.

However, healing of the physical body is nothing in comparison to what seeing and reading auras can do for our consciousness, spiritual development and our awareness of Nature.

Everyone has an Aura. But most people on Earth have very weak and dull Auras. This seems to be a direct consequence of their life long materialistic attitude negating and suppressing the development of consciousness, cultivating fear, envy, jealousy and other similar emotions. Such attitude suppresses their true nature, and their Auras seem to become suppressed too.

When you learn to see Auras, be prepared for a really hard question: “Can you tell me what my Aura is?” and the situation when you don't see any Aura or you see something you don't want to talk about. One of the best answers I found is “why don't you learn to see it for yourself? “. And this is one of the main reasons why I ask people to learn how to see auras.

When people realize that their Aura is on display and many people are able to see it, they will watch what they think. And they will try to see and improve their own Aura. In the process they will become better and wiser, being able to recognize intentions of other people. Surely, the entire world will become much better if all people can see and read Auras.

Children and the Aura:

Very young children (up to 5 years of age) see auras naturally. Infants frequently look above a person in front of them. When they don't like the colour of the aura above the head, or if this colour is much different from their parent's aura, they cry, no matter how much smiling the person does. Children have much cleaner and stronger auras than most of adults, who are usually completely enslaved by the materialistic world and suppress their Nature by following superficial examples.

Every substance on the planet has a field of energy around it. Even what you see as substance is energy. The whole of existence is energy. One part of energy has manifested itself into a certain level of reverberation which makes it a physical form.

The other part of energy also has a form. That form which is not physical but still maintains a form, is being called aura. It is a field of light and energy around the body. Essentially, the physical, mental, emotional and energy status of who you are right now is represented by your aura in a certain way; it is visible through the aura.

Auras are of many kinds. One can carry anything from a pitch black aura to a pure white aura. Between these two, there are millions of shades. In all this, only two types of auras are of significance. When you are in a state of realization, your aura will be pure white. When a yogi who has experienced realization chooses to make himself dynamic, the aura will become electric blue. It is this context we refer to certain great beings of the past as “the blue ones”.

For different requirements, one may change the nature of the aura. The energy is different. The aura is different. The person is different. Everything is different because, to do a particular kind of work you need a certain kind of aura. The aura is just and indicator. The aura is not the real thing.

Don’t try to see people’s auras. The aura is the periphery of the person. Look a little more at the core of the being rather than looking at the surface. The surface is for doctors because they want to fix a physical part that may be going wrong. The surface should not be the interest of a spiritual seeker. What you call aura is even more superficial than the skin because it’s even further out.

It is said that “beauty is skin-deep”. A certain type of beauty is skin-deep. If you see someone with skin peeled off, you wouldn’t think she is beautiful. But the aura is not even skin-deep, so it is not worth spending time on it. Is not worth spending time on it.

If you become conscious of the core, the surface may be visible to you, but trying to see and read people’s aura will be a waste of your time. If your perception is enhanced, you may see things. It is good to see things which things. It is good to see things which are there. If you start seeing things which are not there, that’s the first step towards insanity. So you must be focused on the core, not on the surface.

All those who believe they are spiritual but who are really not, are the biggest deterrent for others to seek any spiritual Because of too many people like this, right-thinking people who are a little more sensible don’t want to have anything to do with spirituality.

If you have the necessary insight, the aura may give you access to the nature of the person, but you are only looking at the psychological, emotional and physical structure of the human being.

On the spiritual path, it is best to ignore the aura – yours and everybody else’s – and focus on the core. If you are focused on the core, you will have a wonderful aura. If your focus is on the surface, you will have miserable aura. So don’t keep looking at your and other people’s auras. It’s time you looked at the core of yourself and the other. If you look at the core of yourself, then naturally you will see the core of everything because in the core, “this and that” does not exist. In the core, only “this” exists. Only on the surface, “this and that” exists.

Since your aura denotes your energy, you must be careful about your energy by changing your attitude and working to suit your demand of the colour of your aura. Once you are able to care for your aura, you can march ahead to take care of your core also.

Be Happy – Nurture Yourself Further Spiritually.

Whenever someone dies, we say that he has expired. Though his body is still there, he is no more. If we go through such statements, we accept that with the death of a person, he completes his journey and leaves this earth. Until he does so, he is with us. When his soul leaves his body, he is treated to be “NO MORE”, he is said to have expired.

Similarly, during the time when we are alive, most of our working is controlled by our conscious and sub-conscious mind. What we are is defined by our mind, or you can say our brain. It means we are nothing but are what our brain says. If that portion of our body, named as brain is put off our body, there will be nothing but a bundle of blood, flesh and bones. So far, we have been thinking heart works for us. No, heart works for our body and is guided by our brain. It is also true that if heart stops to work, the brain can not work any longer. After the stopping of the work by the heart, we understand that death is imminent. Our body would be taken out for funeral as per the rituals. If brain stops to work, my body may become meaningless and my relatives and well wishers may pray for my early death saying that I am not able to care for myself. It means that my body is separate from “I”. To know my reality, I may have to go beyond my surroundings. Emmanuel Praise rightly says, “To know who you really are, you have to detach yourself from the world and turn to your consciousness.”

When we are alive, we see the world around us and it looks so real that we are ready to proclaim that it is only an illusion is sheer nonsense. How can it be? But, it is possible to accept this idea when we define the word “I” as above. Our body is some sort of an extraordinary machine. It is made up of a combination of materials, but it functions as a unit as soon as our soul enters into this machinery. Can you say confidently that you are the body? No. Are you the hair that is cut and thrown away when you go to the hairdresser? You know very well! Our body changes through the years, from the stage of being an infant, we become a full size person in course of time. Are you this changing form?

Can you say that you are a particular thought? Many thoughts pass through the mind each day. They are like a movie that passes in front of our eyes. Sometimes the movie is interesting, and sometimes it is boring. Sometimes it engenders happy feelings sometimes it causes the rise of sadness or anger. Do you remember a thought that you thought an hour ago? Yesterday? How can these thoughts be the real you? You think of them sometime influenced by the circumstances prevailing around us and sometime, they are created through our sub-conscious mind, but still you are not them, you have no control over them. The same thing goes for your feelings. It is not true to say, “I am angry”, “I am sad”, “I am letting now a feeling of anger, sadness or happiness to occupy my consciousness for a while”. You, the basic you, stay the same, while feelings come and go. You are not your feelings, which change constantly.

Your brain may do this – you have no control over your brain too. Who are you? Neither your body is yours and now, nor your brain is controlled by you. Where are you? You say that YOU ARE MR.SMITH, YOU ARE MRS. LINA. But after the heart lying in the body stops to work, the brain stops to work, there is no Mr.Smith and no Mrs.Lina. They are said to have become “NO MORE”.

After the soul leaves the body, the body is declared to be dead body. It means that the soul is ‘You’. The mind cannot describe what is beyond it, because it has not been there. It can understand mental descriptions, which only give it a clue of the reality beyond it. To know who you really are you have to transform your awareness beyond the mind. You are beyond the physical body, feelings and thoughts. You are the eternal, impersonal consciousness that created and infused life into this conglomeration of body, feelings and thoughts that you call yourself “I”.

This homogeneous, indivisible, complete consciousness manifests in everything. It is the life principle of the manifestation that you consider to be yourself. The manifestation, which is the combination of body, thoughts and feelings, is nothing without this life principle. We can certainly say that the consciousness is the only real thing, and every manifestation is just a creation, and therefore not permanent, eternal or real in the sense that it can exist by itself.

Can you become aware of this great consciousness? Yes, of course. You are it. You are letting thoughts and feelings cloud it. If you constantly pay attention to the outside world, then it becomes very real for you. If you find a way to detach yourself from it, and turn your attention within, to the consciousness beyond the mind, you can tear off the screen of illusion, and live consciously in this great consciousness.

Silence of the mind is the prerequisite to awakening spiritually. Only when the mind is silenced and there are not thoughts, you realise who you really are – the vast, eternal consciousness.

This is what has been called spiritual awakening or enlightenment. This is what yogis, saints and seekers on the spiritual path seek. It is here and now. All you have to do is change the way you view the world. You have to learn to neutralize your identity with your body, feelings and thoughts, and develop true detachment. Through constant meditation the mind is made quiet. Then, from deep inside will raise a great silence, peace, life, consciousness and being. This is the real you. This is enlightenment.

When you are spiritually awakened, your life will probably go on as before. You will still have to eat, sleep and take care of the physical life, though you know through your experience that everything is just an illusion. If you view a movie with detachment, you may enjoy it, yet you will not be moved by what happens in it. You know it is just a movie, the projection of light and colour on a screen. You see it, but it does not cause thoughts or feelings to arise. It is the same with the world. The world is not real. You, your real “I”, live in an undifferentiated eternity, yet the body seems to continue to live in a created world.

When you are spiritually awakened nothing can influence you anymore. You are beyond life and death. You will still have to provide food, clothes and a house for the body not much care for the fashion and taste, just for survival and up-keeping, yet, whatever you do, and you will do with inner detachment. You may go on acting intensively in the world, yet remaining uninvolved in consciousness, as if outside of the world.

When you wake up to your real consciousness, and manage to stay in it more or less permanently, you may disregard the power of the mind, or you may use it to mold your illusion stop believing in its reality. Once you do it, you will be able to nurture yourself further.

Be Happy – Nurture yourself further spiritually.

Be Happy – You must beat the odds to rise further.

If you break up the word ‘Impossible’ to read as I+m (short for ‘am’)+possible, you would start to see beyond the impossible, you will affirm that you are going to make the impossible as possible if you are there to attempt upon. This affirmation makes out your assurance to yourself that you can beat the odds to rise further and in result, the way to achieve your destiny clearly will surface. It depends upon your aptitude towards the challenges.

You might have heard very frequently that someone, we can name as Mr.X you know, is addicted of wine, tobacco, drug or on a path of self-destruction or acts as his own worst enemy. We have more attention to the wrong side. We very seldom discuss with our friends and nears that someone, who can be named as Mr.Y is rising from adversity or overcoming obstacles. We have got negative approach. We need to turn our attention and focus to different routes of growth and methods of self-evolution.

Destruction exemplifies a person not acting in his own best interest. Perhaps we recognize behavioral patterns which provoke weaknesses or a propensity for failure, or perhaps we point our ever-judgmental fingers at others in order to avoid pointing them at ourselves.

When we notice the self-sabotage at work in someone else, it’s only because it’s all too recognizable in our own experience. Nonetheless, destruction surfaces when the demons of fruition of effort begin to rise from the fire of impossibility. We tend to destroy our opportunities through various methodologies which some call coping mechanisms and continue down the spiral staircase of failure.

As human beings living in the society, we adapt to our environment. In doing so, we select the best part of ourselves to the world as a productive member of society. Perhaps we adopt a pleasant appearance to fit in with our immediate social strata. Or, sometimes we may change the language we use to fit in with smaller groupers of people who can easily relate to the colloquialism. Undoubtedly, aware of our socio-constructions or not, we all mold ourselves into an acceptable façade for the approval of our society at large. While some may consider this malleability as selling out or even as disingenuous on its face, it remains something we rely on, for our survival in a world where adaptation ensures survivability.

The other day, I told a friend, “I am on a fast path of self-construction!” I’m not tearing down anything as with destruction. ‘Con’ means ‘with’ or ‘together’ and our common images of building and civil engineering. Why not engineer a new life for yourself? Work with the structure you already possess and build a new you that most of your talents and abilities.

Take a look within yourself. In what ways do you put your finest qualities together of yourself? In what ways do you make the most of your lesser characteristics and work with your strengths to present to the world a surprising, revitalized you?

When we build ourselves and our lives using affirmative elements, we can bask in the shinning accomplishment of a newly created self, standing tall in the world and strong in foundation. Move forward with only the best ingredients of thought and action you can gather and your constructive efforts will reward you.

Like it or not, we don’t go through life alone. We may think we do, but every day our interactions with others balance our sense of self with the rest of the world around us. Sometimes our partners help us to construct something far larger than the relationship at hand.

Together, we can work towards common goals and build even greater contribution to the world. Two heads are better than one, but any size group, working in unison holding similar visions with focus and balance can produce exponential and extraordinary results.

Often, we are reminded to read between the lines when looking for a situational meaning not evident on its surface. The same holds true in inter-structuring your life. You may perceive that you gifts and talents are unrelated and when first recognising your abilities you cannot imagine how they would interact with other characteristics you possess, but step back and see how inter-construction can bring about a more fulfilling expression of your spirit.

At first glance, you may not envision a practical use for your sense of artistic taste, but when coupled with your love of cooking and a solid business sense, you may create a fantastic restaurant visited by many patrons who appreciate how you’ve assimilated your flair. Turn your attitudes away from negating your delicious eclectic nature and treat the world to you unique panache!

Each one of us faces the challenges of impasses. Certain situations, or even emotional or attitudinal roadblocks attempt or attitudinal roadblocks attempt to prevent us from our greater good. However, when you see beyond the impossible, the way to achieve your destiny clearly surfaces and you reach the other side of the river of your discontent with a new mobility of spirit. Visualize what lies ahead of you and focus on the other side of the issues and be willing to go beyond what you know and transcend into the champion you were born to be.

Be Happy – You must beat the odds to rise further.

Be Happy – Don’t hustle or hide.

Most of the working time at your disposal, you’re probably really busy. Working, working, rushing from here to there, you feel that still something is to be done. But how close are you getting to the dreams?

You have fantasies about being able to wear some of those "skinny clothes" in your closet, don't you? Remember that friend of yours you had planned on calling? How about that group of leads that you wanted to work? What about that pile in the back yard that needs to be picked up and hauled away?

Life doesn't revolve around watching 'Friends' and staying for one more round of drinks. Is that really fulfilling? Do you look back on that with pride or a feeling of accomplishment? Will those happy-hour buddies really snub you if you left now? Are these people even supportive of your far off dreams?

The stars of 'Friends' make over a million per episode. How much do you make watching them? Get TIVO and you can watch them when you're too exhausted to do anything fun and rewarding.

I know what it's like to have no control over your desires and what it's like to transcend them. It's even tougher to take sometimes, when you do everything you need to do and you still don't get your outcome. It is frustrating. But here's a rule of thumb. If you're not done, keep going. Does it seem odd to even think about working past 5:00? What about throwing in the exercise video at 10:00 at night?

What would happen if you missed your favorite show this week? What would really happen? Shake up your routine. Get out a piece of paper and write down just one goal. A medium- sized goal. Something you've been putting off. Put down the things you need to do to make it happen. Put a date that it absolutely will be done.

Again, make it a medium-sized task... something that would only take about 10-20 hours to complete. Make a schedule.Commit to it... and finish it.

If a competitor got there a week or a month ahead of you, it could mean loss of thousands of dollars. You may not bear the thought of losing that much money because you couldn't get yourself to pick up a 16-ounce telephone receiver to make two or three calls.

Look at your fears. Figure out what they're costing you. If you don't ask that person out, you both may miss out forever. If you don't practice, then you're not going to perform well. Plug in your own situation. Do you want those results?

Listen to your inner voice. What's it saying when you're worried or having a panic attack... over a very routine thing for most people? When you're stopped cold, notice what you're focusing on and what you're telling yourself. I'll guarantee it's not, "Go for it!" You're most definitely not telling yourself that you can do the job... that it's no big deal.

Look at the empowering beliefs below and commit them to memory. Say them over and over until you dream about them. Read them constantly. Your circumstances won't change until your thoughts change. Pound that into your head.

You know, you must have watched the movies "Rocky" and "Rudy" 50 times each. Why? Because nothing changes until you change what you think about. And emotional stories about people who overcome huge odds can inspire you to do the same.

Whenever I'm feeling stuck I pull out my empowering questions or my affirmation cards or read/watch an empowering story. It never ever fails to get me back on track and hopeful.

Do like the legendary basketball coach John Wooden says and "drink from good books." He reads something powerful and encouraging every single day. And there was no better life coach than him. Do you believe "what goes in must come out?" Then act by what you believe and keep the positive flowing in every minute you can. Set that goal... And get hustling. Do that and something good will always happen.

You need to hustle or hide anything. Since you are brave, you must stick to your program and if required, you may disclose to the public that you are doing it. It will boost up your intentions and your goodwill as well.

Be happy - Don’t hustle or hide.

Be Happy – Be Entrepreneur

Here, the employer will count on your performance in terms of the terms and conditions settled with you.

For becoming a self employed, professional, you need to make good achievements in your academic and vocational pursuits. Addition of some practical experience may make you sharp and you can render consultancy or work as an Engineer, Architect, Medical Practitioner, Lawyer, artist, accountant, spiritual Guru, teacher, preacher, craftsman, master, expert etc..

You may develop some system, organize infrastructure, recruit some staff even including some experts of the line, to support you.

Here, we see the third option seems to be best if you have courage to become an entrepreneur.

For example, if you are thinking to be a technopreneur, you need to have some personal traits that include being ambitious, independent thinking, passionate about your work, self confidence to take bold decisions, commitment to your job, creativity in good doses, having risk taking abilities, and having a vision for future.

Be Happy – Your Sincere Friend Is A Strength To Your Family.

Your friend is a person attached to you by feelings of affection or personal regard. He is a person who gives assistance to you when you need the same, or he is a person who is on good terms with you and not hostile.

Your friends can help you a lot. “Through a variety of activities you do during your life, your brain becomes more efficient. If you have a disease that’s destroying your [thought-processing] networks, the guy with the more efficient network is going to be better off,” says Bennett.

Some time friendship with opposite gender converts into family relationship. For example, you and X had been studying in the same school or residing in the same colony, village or town for a long period. Your frequent meetings with that person developed a sort of friendship which had started from some beginning lip smiles and then to some formal/informal talks. You give some more time in closeness and get introduced with personal aptitude leading both of you to strong friendship. One day, you decide to marry. The friendship becomes root of your family.

After you form family with that ‘X’,who was earlier your friend, you and your spouse still have some friends. Sometime such friends can provide help and comfort - or can add to the problems. If they are sincere, they can lend you their helping hands in solving your emotional, financial and social problems. If unfortunately, they are not sincere, they can blackmail you too when you might have discussed with them your intimate details. Here you need to screen out your true friends. But after you ascertain who is your sincere friends and the initial hurdle of telling is overcome, they can be the most important support network of all.

Scientifically, having your social network continued is beneficial to your health. “If you stay connected, you have a better shot,” says Valerie Crooks, clinical trials administrative director at Southern California Kaiser Permanente Medical Group and lead author of the study. “Whenever we have even the most basic exchange, we have to think about how to respond, and that stimulates the brain. There are people who are outliers, who have two very close relationships and are fine cognitively. But people who have three or more relationships tend to do better.”

Park hypothesizes that social interaction, like mental exercises and learning, may limit the amount of time that the aging brain can remain unfocused, in a daydream-like state. Her theory is that older people have more difficulty switching between daydreaming and focused attention to important details. So the more time the aging brain spends mentally stimulated and socially engaged, the less switching is necessary, and the easier it is to perform the daily tasks necessary for independent living.

Three years after Christine McCleary’s father died, she started noticing changes in her mom, Stella. A typically active woman who always had lots of friends, Stella started skipping church services, which was out of character for her. She stopped wearing makeup and didn’t always remember to launder her clothes. Not only that, Stella, 86, began spending more and more time alone in her apartment and often couldn’t remember what day of the week it was.

McCleary was no longer sure that her mom, who lived thousands of miles away, was remembering to eat regular meals. “We knew that things were going downhill,” says McCleary, 56, but the final straw came during a frantic phone call. “She thought my father was there, and he’d been dead at the time for three years. That made us say, hey, she can’t be living on her own anymore.” So Stella moved from her longtime home near Pittsburgh to a senior residence in Reno, Nev., close to McCleary and her husband. Stella went from having maybe two social interactions a week to living in a building with more than 200 of her peers. Within a month she was applying blush and wearing jewelry. She started playing bridge every week and walking three miles a day. Her conversations became animated again. “It was like the clock was turned back four years,” says McCleary’s husband Larry, 59. “You could tell she enjoyed getting up in the morning.”

New research suggests that Stella’s turnaround may have been integrally tied to her level of social activity and engagement. Many scientists now believe that social interaction is key to maintaining good mental health and warding off diseases like dementia and Alzheimer’s.

In another study at Rush, researchers followed about 800 people, all about age 80, for four years. The participants had no signs of dementia at the beginning of the study, but some described themselves as lonely and tested positive on a “loneliness scale.” During the study, 76 people developed Alzheimer’s-like dementia. People with the highest scores on the loneliness scale had more than twice the risk of developing dementia as those with more social connections who had scored lower.

Whatever the process is that allows social interaction to protect the aging brain—and scientists are only beginning to understand it—the McClearys believe it worked wonders for Stella, who lived in the Reno facility for two years. “I am convinced that had she continued to live alone in her previous apartment, she would not have improved the way she did,” says her daughter, Christine McCleary. “I’m just sorry my dad never lived there too, because I think he would have benefited from it and loved it.”
Since friends are important asset to us, our family and our social life, we must keep our social network expanding. A Friend in need is a friend indeed. You too can be a good friend to some family. And the whole family will become your friend.

Here are some of the ways your social network made up of your friends can provide help:

Your Sincere Friends always listen carefully to you when you are wishing to tell your problem.

One of the best things friends can do is simply to listen to you as you go through the ups and downs of treatment. You may need to talk to someone about the minutiae of the injections, scans and your reactions to them. Having someone on the other end of the phone can be invaluable. But before telling your problem, you must check out the capacity of that friend whether he/she can keep secret of your problem if warranted, whether he/she can extend to you some help and whether he/she is reliable.

Your Sincere Friends provide practical help

Some have good friends who are ready to help by giving injections. Alternatively, if your partner cannot go with you on visits to the clinic, they can step in with moral support or for practical help like driving you home afterwards. Talk to them freely, so they can understand what you are going through.

Sometime, your family may find short of funds to meet some urgent need at home and you are not at home, you can ask any of your sincere friends to arrange some funds to be repaid when you return. Some friends can help your children to get suitable jobs and become reference for them.

Your Sincere Friends Carry on as usual without making you feel your loss.

In the middle of all the treatment, it's easy to let your social life go. Friends can help by inviting you round. They can organize outings or ask you to stay, to help ease the tension of waiting for results. They can restore you to your normal life by keeping you busy.
