Be Happy – Accomplish Your Dreams (Part 13)

To Accomplish Your Dreams, you need not to cut the wings of your dreams for they are the heartbeat and the freedom of your soul. You must not fear adversity has the effect of eliciting talents which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant. Once you determine, you will recognize your own path when you come upon it, because you will suddenly have all the energy and imagination you will ever need. You may invoke enthusiasm towards your dreams. Enthusiasm is the mother of effort, and without it nothing great was ever achieved. The circumstances of your life have uniquely qualified you to make a contribution. And if you don't make that contribution, nobody else can make it. The biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to make a living at their job, where they most devote their active time. You must enjoy your working too. You know! Few wishes come true by themselves. But you must not forget that you need to work strenuously to Accomplish Your Dreams. A smooth sea never made a skilled mariner. To Accomplish Your Dreams, you need to streamline your working and for that purpose, you need to make scheduling of all your priorities. It will help you to swim smoothly.

Yesterday, I had a funny experience happen to me. I went into a convenience store, the same store that I always do. And as I was checking out I dropped off a few business cards by the register. As I was leaving the check out girl said to me as she was looking at my card "How is that every time you come in here you are always so happy?" I have to admit that this was a pretty awkward question to be asked. Without even thinking I said "I guess because it just beats the alternative" and smiled. Then as I was driving on the way home I began to ponder this event a bit more. I now realize that whether we know it or not we are in a constant state of impression making. I would hate to think that someone might consider me as grumpy, or even worse unhappy! However, inevitably throughout my life at some point I must have left another with this impression. I personally believe that by sharing the happiness we feel about ourselves, we have a unique opportunity to impact those around us. You must remain optimistic to let your little light shine. I hope that you will try to make a conscious effort to impact those around you positively! It would help you in Accomplishing Your Dreams.

Your attitude plays a vital role in forming your personality and your impact on others. As you believe, so you become. As you become, so you believe. When you determine to Accomplish Your Dreams, you may perhaps face a number of hurdles because many times it happens that your dreams may be treated as taking away slice from other’s bread. In that case, you need to reexamine your strategy and be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary. If you have the courage to believe and the strength to run your own victory it is certain for you to Accomplish Your Dreams. You know that difficulties increase the nearer you would approach your goal. You must take chance because it is always powerful - let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish. It is true that we are meant to ride nature's waves, not to fight against them. But we can struggle against those hurdles which are created by the vested interests and we have to identify them, while pursuing our goals.

So far it has been felt that most of us do no great things; we prefer only small things with great love. Those who made miracles have always farsightedness in doing even small things and got big results. Whenever you fix up your targets, see your dreams, you will have to think about long range effects also. Each of you has power to achieve anything once you think that is possible. Change the word “Impossible” into “It is (I am) possible”. Deep within you, dwell those slumbering powers; powers that would astonish you, that you never dreamed of possessing; forces that would revolutionize your life if aroused and put into action. You may do it to Accomplish Your Dreams.

You know, very few people are ambitious in the sense of having a specific image of what they want to achieve. Most people's sights are only toward the next run, the next increment of money. Ambition can creep as well as soar. The men who succeed are the efficient few. They are the few who have the ambition and will power to develop themselves To Accomplish your dreams, you need to revisit your image also. Perhaps, that may not be suitable to the dreams you cherish. You may have to modify or take some risk. Everything that leads to success involves us taking on at least some degree of risk! It does not mean that you should quit your job and take your savings and play some lottery or speculative game. I do not suggest you to go in for some gambling. You see we have to be able to combine risk with careful goal planning! So, if you still don't believe in the power that "risk" plays in our journey to success, I ask you to find one person who you would consider successful that didn't take at least some risk to get their target. In most cases they might have been even ridiculed because of their ideas. However, because of their determination, or in some cases their stubbornness not to give up they have achieved that which we would call success! You may dare to live your dreams! Not only will you be on the way to your own success, you will also have a much happier journey!
