Be Happy – Accomplish Your Dreams (Part 31)

To Accomplish Your Dreams, you need to embrace Failure! Do not get disappointed due to failures. Why? It is the best teacher to gain a sound success in your direction. Recently I was reading an article about the J. Peterman Co. What caught my eye was that Mr. Peterman the founder who mentioned that failure is his best teacher. What I found fascinating was that he said that when he was raising capital to start the J. Peterman Co. the venture capitalists he talked with all wanted to know one common question if he had ever failed at anything! You see these folks who make a living at picking the best companies did not see failure as a weakness; instead they reasoned that anyone who had not previously come back from a down time probably did not have what it takes to build a successful business.

Now I have to tell you that really sent me doing some research, and sure enough if you check around, you will be hard pressed to find someone who has found success on that first try! Instead what you are sure to find lots of folks who just would not take no for an answer. Let us look at this outside of the realm of business for a second. Take for example the game of baseball. It is a fact that most major league home run hitters strike out many more times than they get hits, but when they get that hit it more than makes up for their low hit ratio. The fact is that each of you has so much more ability to Accomplish Your Dreams than you can even fathom. Every person is responsible for all the good within the scope of his abilities, and for no more, and none can tell whose sphere is the largest.

To Accomplish Your Dreams, you, as a team leader, must not accept anything less than the best a member of your team must be capable of doing... and he has the right to expect the best that you do for him and the team! It is a fine thing to have ability, but the ability to discover ability in others is the true test. The Creator has not given you a longing to do that which you have no ability to do. I am convinced that one of the finest qualities a person can develop is the ability to recognize promise in those around them. Upon reading about those rarest of individuals one is hard pressed to get to the root and find that they are not also strong motivators of others. The truest way to find personal success is to lead others along with you on your journey!

If you wish to Accomplish Your Dreams sincerely, you must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be. First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do. You must affirm your wish repeatedly to keep your focus intact. Only one thing registers on the subconscious mind: repetitive application practice. What you practice is what you manifest. As long as you know what it is you desire, then by simply affirming that it is yours - firmly and positively, with no ifs, buts, or maybes – over and over again, from the minute you arise in the morning until the time you go to sleep at night, and as many times during the day as your work or activities permit, you will be drawn to those people, places, and events that will bring your desires to you. There are very few people that would disagree with the power that our subconscious mind can play in leading us to achievements. However, I find it amazing that many of us don't use daily affirmations to program our subconscious. By continually introducing our goals and desires into our mind it is possible to actually program yourself for that achievement!

Wealth is lost, nothing is lost. You can earn it again with your hard labor, sincerity to the target and with moral values. Health is lost, you may loose something important as without good health, you can not enjoy the work of your job, good finance you might be having and good social contacts you might have developed in course of time. But if you loose your character resulting into loss of social credit, you may face great loss in your life. You know! It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently. In all of your working, you need to be extraordinarily careful to watch if that is not going to harm your social goodwill as that is very much essential for you to Accomplish Your Dreams.

A reputation once broken may possibly be repaired, but the world will always keep their eyes on the spot where the crack was. While our lives can be turned upside down at the drop of a dime I find comfort in knowing that no matter what my reputation and name sake is always in my own control! It is a fact that many different things can and will happen to change our lives; many of them are even out of our control. However, no matter what happens always do your best to be viewed as someone whose word is your bond and you will always have that to fall back on and you can wish to Accomplish Your Dreams!

If you go through deeply, you may find that your social image has a lot to do when you wish to Accomplish Your Dreams. If you have good social image, the quantum of your efforts in making up your team, organizing your resources and re-building up yourself may not cost much. Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth. Be careful what you set your heart upon - for it will surely be yours. Nothing is built on stone; all is built on sand, but we must build as if the sand were stone. Your working in social service must be like that you are involving every one in your task as you are teaching them and they are learning. They may become your permanent friends in your life. Whatever you tell someone about something, he/she can forget after sometime or may try to do so after the receipt of better opportunity. If you try merely to teach something without putting in practice, he/she may remember for sometime. If you involve him/her, which can provide an opportunity to learn, that may happen to be a reliable source of confidence for future to you.

Be Happy – Accomplish Your Dreams without any disappointment with the failures.
